How to set key signature for Audio FX pitch shifter plugin

I have set the project key signature to F# minor and I am using a guitar signal on an audio track and have a bus of the signal to an aux track where I have an apple audio fx plugin "pitch shifter." So far I only see set semitone adjustments and nothing that pitch shifts the signal in key as set for the project or any particular part of the timeline for the project. Is there a way to get the pitch shifter or any other audio fx plugin to give me intervals that are related to the key of the moment in any given project? How is it done? At the moment when I have the pitch shifter set to +3 semitones which = a minor 3rd interval above the played note but it doesn't stay in key when I play a note that needs a Major 3rd above the played input note.

Not sure what you need the pitch shifter...

You can set the mid thru region parameter "Transpose" in semitones. So if you are playing live into logic the key of D# and you set the transpose parameter to +3. The recording will be 3 semitones higher than what you played in ( in this case F#)...

I do not see a +3 nor -3 for semitones in the transpose section as a selection. The smallest interval -12 or +12 semitones. Nor does this section on an aux track shift/transpose/alter pitch.

You need to click and hold on the 0 ( not the up down arrow to the right )....

Thank you for that info as I am able to make the semitone transpositions although, when I do it to the aux track of which I bus the signal to, the transposition feature doesn't affect the bused audio.

If I understand this correctly, this is about Audio tracks, not MIDI tracks.

The question is not very clear, I see 2 seperate issues:

1) You are recording a guitar audio track in F# minor. You would like this to play back in, say, A minor, so you need to pitch shift by 3 semitones. In this case, pitch shifter will do the trick.

2) You are saying that some notes need to be shifted a major 3rd rather than a minor 3rd. That is not a transposition. This issue only makes sense if some notes are played out of key and you need to *correct* some wrong notes, not *transpose* them.

For that, you should insert the Pitch Correction plug in first, so that all notes get corrected to the key you are recording the track in.

If that does not solve your problem, can you please explain in more detail why some notes would have to be shifted a major 3rd rather than a minor 3rd in your transposition.
